The direction repositions preservation as something living and evolving. At its core, a generative logo system — shifting and adapting like the city itself — paired with a bold, vibrant palette reflecting the diversity and energy of New York’s neighborhoods.

The result is a contemporary identity that bridges past and present, making heritage feel active, inclusive, and relevant today.
